Marietta Martial Arts

Marietta Martial Arts--especially the East Lake location--is a very impressive operation. To me, their biggest strength is that they hire instructors who actually like children and are in the habit of meeting children where they are. My five year old daughter was stretched in such a positive way by the caring and positive people at MMA. Her first belt test was scary for her, and the support and attention she received in the face of that fear was truly touching to see. With a lot of help, she was able to complete that belt test and she was SO proud. I also love that attention is paid to the whole child, to forming them in good habits such as respect, discipline, and gratitude. But really it is just such a fun time. It's the perfect balance of structure and play. I'm grateful to Joey for his flexibility and thoughtfulness as we worked out the right class and membership plan that worked for our family. Highly recommend!
